Women Executives in Technology Companies
A study by the Atlanta-based Board of Directors Network found that of Georgia's 136 public companies in 2011, only 56, or 41 percent, had at least one women executive officer. An analysis of those 56 companies with at least one woman executive officer found that 8, or 14 percent, were technology companies, while 5, or 9 percent, were bioscience companies.
